Changes in You:
You may begin to notice burning and numbness in your hands, which is a symptom of carpel tunnel
syndrome. It is common in up to 25 percent of all pregnant women. In pregnancy, hormonal effects, swelling and
weight gain can compress the nerves inside your wrists. The symptoms are numbness, tingling and pain. The effects
of carpel tunnel syndrome can keep you up at night, but most of the time- they disappear after delivery.
